I may be over thinking this

So I'm listening to a radio program on the standard model and we got to the bit about matter/anti-matter balance at the beginning of the universe and it occurred to me that if we were made of anti-matter wouldn't we see it as matter and matter as anti-matter? And if this was the case would that mean we've got the sums wrong and the model is flawed as a result?
