eyes need us to see

Yeah, so, okay. I've been really angry lately. Just, y'know, no reason.

But, hypothetically? If there had been a reason? I'm over it. I mean, I mean, I'm not forgiving either of you, I'm just done. Okay? Just done.

It's done and I'm done. Good. Okay.

So quick. Someone tell me something interesting.

I saw some nargles in the forest today....there was a mummy and a baby one, and I think it might make the top five list of cute things I have seen.

How are you feeling today, Lionel?

I've seen those before, I think.

More awake than usual. And you?

They're so sweet, aren't they? They make me feel wonderful just looking at them, like sleigh bells or spring rain....

I'm feeling quite well...perhaps tending a bit more poetic than usual, but it is a very lovely day...

Beware, though. It is the Ides of March...

They are very sweet. I'm glad you got to see them, not many people do.

*bemused* Yes, I can see the poetry. Is it the Ides of March? I seem to have lost track of time.

I'm glad, too. I think I'd be missing out on a great deal if I never managed to find them.

And yes, it's March 15th. "The Ides of March is come, but not yet gone." Should we see if anyone's attempted to wrest power from the teachers in celebration?

Oh, I'm sure you would find them eventually.

Perhaps we should be the ones to overthrow them ourselves.

Are you in the mood for random civil disobedience, Lionel? We could be like that American, Thoreau, though perhaps slightly more active...

It'd be entertaining, at least...

I can't imagine what I'd like to disobey, though.

Hmmmmm...perhaps the random and silly rules, although everyone already ignores any of Filch's rules...

True story. We could make up rules to break.

Well, we could do some sort of very Modern protest against oppressive social norms....

What do you suggest?

Well, there's always the option of taking a vow of silence for some cause or another, like women's rights or what have you. Another option is dressing like the oppressed...

I know our Illustrious Head Girl likes to go out on the lawn and burn bras every time she gets a fit of feminism....

What causes do you have more than even a passing care about?

hunting_realism November 16 2007, 03:40:27 UTC
*thinks*

I...don't care about any causes.

Hmmmm....

Perhaps we could just dress ourselves in togas and such? Leave the protesting to those who have something to protest?

My bedsheets are blue and white striped, with Crumple Horned Snorkacks on them. I imagine they will make an interesting toga.
