Israel! Day 2!
Well, today, I met wit another student from MIT who is here doing research in Israel. She is pretty cool. We both signed up to get phones which we should have tomorrow. They will be good for in country calls. They can make out of country calls too, for less than $2 per minute! Hopefully I will be able to get internet in my room soon, Sunday at the latest.
After signing up for phone plans, we schlepped around for a LONG TIME trying to find a power adapter, so I could use my computer here. We went to the mall, from there, took a taxi to a strip mall, then, took another taxi to the "Old City" and finally found converter in a small electronics store. It took WAY too long.
