Fireside chats?

Wow. So, you know how Roosevelt had the Fireside Chats, where he went on the radio and talked to Americans? Apparently every president since him has done this also. How come I never learned this?? Did anyone else realize this? It is called the Presidential Radio Address. Haha, I feel dumb. :P
