Challenges....
There are so many challenges I really want to sign up for but I'm remaining strong in my convictions. I love challenges, I really honestly do, but I feel like I've signed up for so many that it's actually hurting my writing. I sit in front of my computer and refuse to write unless it has a deadline, and then I can't seem to get the energy to write what I need to. So, not writing what I need to. Not writing what I want to. Not writing at all.
However, without a deadline I found that I've added another couple K of words to this years failed Nano attempt. I love the story idea so I'm thrilled to be putting more words to it. I've also added to my previous year's Nano fail and done some major editing to a story I want to try to publish. Also... verse updates and I've gotten some ideas about how to continue a couple stories that were only posted as chapters (My Dinosaur and Narnia remakes).
So, I feel that my decision not to do challenges is paying off. But... but... I really love challenges!!!!!
Thinking of doing a work in progress meme just to remind myself of all the other things I could be writing right now without a challenge looming overhead!
