Seriously, you took this nightmarish drabble paining and you worked it (and in fic size!!!)... it's so logic and so Dean and it explains Gordon's mad hate for Sammy and his crazy allure to Dean so much more. It works amazingly with the Canon!

I'm so glad you liked it! It wasn't at all what I set out to write but somehow this came out :P I've always played a little on the idea that since Dean and Sam had been raised hunters, not just turned to it at some point later in life, that they'd be able to do things far more naturally than other hunters. Doesn't mean they don't make mistakes because they're both young, even with their experience, but I feel it gives them an edge that other hunters don't have.

And Gordon... I liked the connection with Dean and Gordon and how it felt like if they had met under different circumstances Gordon would have been trying to drive a wedge between Sam and Dean... :P

Great fic ... I always thought there was a lot of chemistry and sexual tension between Gordon and Dean. Those two would have been a lethal and truly frightening pair is Sam wasn't there to stop it.

Thank you! Yes! Gordon and Dean have a really interesting interaction going on before the whole kill Sam thing happens :P When I got the prompt I was just like... huh... Dean/Gordon... and then the Blood prompt just made it all fit together for me :P Glad you liked it!

You also went for the less typical approach as you could have done vampire Gordon/Dean for the blood prompt. He was busy sucking on Dean's neck before Sam sliced his head off with the razor wire ;)

That was the story I really sat down to write actually ... and I just might come back to that one at some point, but somehow this came out and i'm pretty happy with it for now :P
