After calling Becky and managing to calm her down enough, explain what he could and all he couldn't, to ensure Jess had somewhere to stay - as well as telling Becky to stay safe, to protect herself just in case - Sam had hung up.
He'd taken a few minutes to just collect himself before hitting some more numbers on the phone and calling the only person he could think of who could give him some advice about this.
