where this idea came from
Because I feel the need to explain where this came from, it all started after I watched 3.03... (so spoilers for that ep.)
There's the scene where Kubrik is evidently looking online to see if he can locate Sam, and I start wondering exactly who he's contacting about this. Is there a hunter mailing list? If so, do they wank over whether or not Sam is evil? Surely they do. I poked Goo and told him we needed to write a fic where Gordon wanks with someone on the hunter ML about Sam. It sort of...snowballed from there.
We threw a few ideas back and forth about what format to use. I personally read and love the Dugout (located here) so after we discussed doing it mailing list style or as a Fandom Wank report, we decided on the chat style. Plus this way we get to make up fun screen names for everyone.
And thus this journal was born.
