Earlier I was thinking about how wonderful and often masturbatory profanity is.When creatively used, it is almost an art. I am waiting for the day when anchormen and sports announcers are able to use common terms like, "Holy Fuck, Did you see that shit?" on network. The episode in which Homer attempts to emulate Thomas Edison was on tonight. He finally stumbles upon something he thinks is an original invention, but then his dreams are crushed because it turns out the no fall chair was already Edison's. As he discovers this blow to his manhood, he lets loose some angry words and Bart shows up: Hey Dad, swearing? Mind If I join you? "BOOBS CRAP BOOBS" So Homer decides to go to the Edison museum to "smash" the chair and steal credit for the invention, and Bart is all like "Yeah, SHIT DAMN FART." And I'm all thinking "man, little kids trying to curse is the shit" 'cause it really is. So is throwing things off crazy high places, or even just kinda high places, or even just being kinda high and throwing shit around for the hell of it. The "SPLAT" impact noise is quite satisfying, and that satisfaction is easily re-livable. There is something to be said for the simple joys in life.
