i got the job! (refer to a past post) i've been feeling rotten this past week and last and i needed something to bounce me back up. this definitely did it. the pay is a bit over $14, $15 on weekends. i'll only be working two 12hr shifts (7PM-7AM) a week, plus the $20+/hr overtime that i have plenty of time to accumulate. i'm satisfied, considering the lack of bills i need not worry of, leaving a 100% of my pay in my pocket, split with my bank account. :) i work hard for my money and it's wonderful to be able to spend it as i please. this christmas is going to be festive. my season of giving without asking for anything in return and i absolutely cannot wait to spoil the few special people in my life. my desire to do this is exponential and i mean it whole heartedly when i say that i want nothing in return. well, except from my mom because duh, thats MOMZ, hehe. does this mean i'm growing up? lol, kidding.

that i'd like to welcome you phone call caused a complete turn around in my spirit and i'm beyond greateful for the impeccable timing. my other job hasn't been needing extra help as of late due to a decrease in census leaving me hourless, not to mention unbearably broke.

this is my second job in -- ever. my very first job i got this (past) summer (@20). horrible, isn't it? lol, not to say i was spoiled just... sheltered. my older sister began working early and that led to a whole heap of drama, back when all the cool kids chilled at the mall. heads used to travel far and wide to go to our mall. the peak of cliques & crews, feeling the need to prove something. jersey/ny stand up! AAAHahaha. don't front, you know what i'm talking about! the good ol days, lol. you can just imagine the drama that pursued. anyway, that was off tangent. :) so my point: i'm where i should be, regardless the inexperience, working at a hospital taking care of mom & baby, skipping the whole food court/retail minimum wage thing. not to say that's a bad thing. BUT to each his own.

my mom got me taking iron supplements after she panicked, witnessing first hand what i've been telling her. my hemoglobin has always been abnormally low which, i assume is the reasoning behind my nail beds turning from pinkish to a dark shade of blue when the temperature's low. can you imagine, blue nails? i'm awfully weird errm, special, don't hate, heh. i tend to get cold quite easily as well, especially my feet & hands. poor circulation, poor me. just kidding, it's not that serious.

ps: did you know the world's tallest man (8'11") died of an infected foot blister at the age of 22? the taller you are, obviously, the longer the extremities -> the less the sensation. (anatomy professor)

did you know manhattan is the smallest county in the US? (snapple fact, lol)

did you know strawberries are in the rose family? (cereal box, lol some more)
