Seriously Holy Shit, son of a Bitch, OMG and etc etc etc etc etc etc etc....Ok I know Brody is young, but comparing the two in the cage together, they looked very different. So Chase is 8 months now, and has definitely filled out. Gotten big, put on some weight....you know a few ounces. I started thinking how their faces wernt matching up....Chase has round face, bigger built, Brody is still a baby so I don’t know how he’ll fill out, but his face is more pointed, and he has smaller ears then Chase. So I grabbed out my Chin book and read the difference between the 2 different types of Chins. Lanigera are the most common type of Chins available as pets. Brevicaudata is rare for pets.....BUT Chase totally matches the description in of Brev. Chins and Brody matches the Lan. Chins.......except one thing...........down below. I was told Chase is a boy when I first got him....and hey it was my first chinchilla what did I know...but comparing the two...I thought wow, Chase you got screwed...and it wasnt fair that Brody was bigger then Chase at a younger age, which got me worrying. SO I looked online, for Chinchilla info, to see the difference between a boy and a girl......there it was, two pictures presenting male and female genitalia........which I’ve come to realize that CHASE IS A GIRL AND BRODY IS A BOY!!!!!!!! AND I AM UP SHITS CREEK WITHOUT A PADDLE AND MY MOM IS GONNA BE PISSED!!!!
