I know there are those few people out there that get call after call after call because they are "important people". I also know there are people like me who NEVER get any calls but yet still carry their phone on them at all times. There are the type of people that expect to get calls just to feel like they are important/popular. This is how I feel Jason is. Every night that we are together he gets at least 5 calls from different people. His roommate calls him EVERY night, his cousin calls him EVERY night, and then most of the other calls are current or ex co-workers. Some nights when his phone doesn't ring he starts to complain, "no one likes me, no one is calling me." Weekends are the worst!
Ok, so people like to talk to him, that I don't mind. He has a lot of friends ,a lot of associates...ok, that is fine. What I do mind is that almost every person that calls him is asking him to meet them up at some local bar. 4-5 calls in one night to meet random people up at bars? What does this tell you? Does Jason do things behind my back. I mean, people wouldn't constantly be calling him if he didn't give them a reason to, right??? I know this is just my insecurity, especially since a few months ago some guy I barely know told me that they saw Jason making out with chicks at The Post, Tiki Bob's and other local bars. (I didn't believe this because how can two people who don't know each other be at the same exact bar on separate nights, plus, I know this guy wanted to get in my pants and he was trying to break us up and Jason is usually with me on his off nights.) Anyway, it is just annoying when he talks on his phone with these people and always leads them on to think that he may actually join them.
When I get angry with him because he is constantly on his phone and not giving me attention he then gets mad at me. *sigh* One day I am just going to tell everyone to call me and see how he likes it. Oh, just thought about it, if I am on the phone talking to someone, usually my mother, usually he will pick his phone up and call someone...he must feel the urge to compete against me. LOL
