you people are still around?
I haven't logged onto this site in a long time, and I actually regret it.
I was just thinking about this, with Facebook and Myspace and every other thing that there is to do on the internet, I totally forgot that this was here.
I will try to update it more and more as the days come. I hope.. :/
Things that have been happening in my life...
I have had a way different outlook on life. I am no longer dwelling on things in the past, and have been surprised that I have made lots of good plans for the future.
I am helping out with the 3 day walk for breast cancer, I am not walking, but I am supporting the girl in the office that is doing the walk herself. I figured I'd see how everything is, and I can decide if this is something I truly want to do for next year.
I'm helping my mom with Relay For life. I am going to do some walking for them, 2 hours from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m., they have a hard time finding walkers for this time slot, and so my mom and I are going to walk it for cancer. I hear it's a really truly nifty event. I can't wait.
I volunteered to meet kids (adopted) at the airport to help them get into the states, go through customs and what not. This should be interesting. I think I'd be a good candidate for this because I actually KNOW what those kids are going through, and maybe help them with any insights. I figured that I turned out OK, they have equally a good change of doing so.
I've also started to search down my birth parents. I ran into my first wall, but I haven't given up on it, just sitting on the information for a bit. I haven't really thought too hard on it. I don't even know if I'm doing it for the right reasons, but I just know that I am interested in making a trip out to S. Korea in the very near future (1 year). I am preparing myself for it (financially/mentally) and I figured that it's time for me to re-visit the motherland.
So far, I'm going there by myself. I am really excited about it. I have looked into some of the hot-spots, and since it's not that huge of a country, I figured I could do a cursory trip, and then later go back (if I like it) to do more of an in-depth trip.
