Ino is one of my favorites, despite the fact that HE SO COULD'VE DEVELOPED HER AS A CHARACTER AND COULDN'T, GDI. Luckily she provides a lot of speculation-fodder trying very hard not to write Shisui/Ino atm. And despite all this pointless Temari subtext, I will always belive that ShikaIno is one of the best het pairings in the entire series *_*

Shishui and Ino? I've never even considered this possiblity but that would be kinda awesome. No. Not just kinda. Unadulterated awesome.

But, yeah. Shika/ino is one of my OTPs :)

lol, I have stupid headcanon that Inoichi was his genin teacher and taught him his mindbending technique of win. So, you know...off the mind goes in that vein. Inoichi & the Uchiha fics always intrigue me.

It's fantastic :) I can never summon up the courage to write something for them, but it has a special place in my heart.

I officially have some new head canon. That is awesome. Though, I bet all the whispers of the Uchiha uprising that had to have been buzzing around his spy network must have broken Inoichi's heart... (as you can already tell my Inoichi has had a lot of tragedy in his life.)

While I understand that thought, anything you write comes out fantastic :)

Haha, it started out as a necessary plot point in my Ita/Shi exchange fic, but it was the sort of idea that needed further exploration and I didn't really...do that. Plus, Ino would be like, eight years old at the time of Shisui's death :( I love ships in which people bond over shared skills, though--and what a skill this would be to bond over! It doesn't seem like she has any close clan members/etc. who share it aside from her father.

Hey, the Yamanaka are MINDBENDERS! Surely they have their...secrets and skeletons. What kind of tragedy? I love minor character headcanon...

Yeah, the Yamanaks seem like they are a practically nonexistant clan, don't they? We've seen all of...what four, one of whom was in ROOT and therefore likely was.... stolen or kidnapped and brainwashed or something. (Root ninjas seems very mysterious. The only two we know about, Sai and Yamanto, both had this happen). Mind you, all the clans seem that way, even Hyuuga which is supposedly a huge clan. Anyway, In my stories, the backstory is that most of the Yamanak clan died when buildings collapsed during the Ninetails attack, and that Inoichi despises Naruto when the kids are in school.

There would be some adorable fic with some hero and/or big brother worshipping going on between those two.
