Spoilers for Naruto Chapter 475
THAT IS POSSIBLY THE MOST DISGUSTING AND REPULSIVE THING EVER. GET THAT OUT OF OUR FACES DANZOU, YOU CREEPIZOID!!!!!
I mean, seriously. you have an arm with eye implants Let's even forget the logic of how this would be possible ( I mean, I know they managed to grow an ear on a rat's back but...), but what use could those eyes possibly be? WHAT USE! To see you armpit? Or what's happening at your elbow? IS HIS ENTIRE BODY (THAT IS STILL COVERED UP) LIKE ONE GAINT EYEBALL!!!!!Ewwwwww. I have a thing about body parts being where they shouldn't be. (boy, that seems like a very messed up sentence to even write.) But I mean that. There is, admittedly, a certain fascination with those things that also repel us slightly, but this goes overboard.
Okay.
Now that that is out of my system, here's what I actually noticed about the latest chapter.
I liked Danzou's henchmen. I could have cared less about all the Atasuki and what was with the racoon and poet-dude with Killer Bee? But these minor characters were interesting. Also, I am now more curious about Root. Did Danzou kidnap these kids, or fake their deaths so they could join ROOT? Or did they join it as adults? If so, what do their clans think they are doing? Previously, I'd kinda thought that ROOT was mostly made of people who... did not seem to legally exist. Like, Yamanto who was a test-tube baby who may or may not have been documented as existing for some years. Or Sai's own unconventional path to Konoha. Of course, This Yamanaka dude means I have to rethink some of my A Rose Bloomed background. Which, um, shouldn't effect much, but I might be inspired to write a side story for about the Yamanaka clan...
I also liked Gaara's question about friends, but Gaara has been so consistently cool that I almost feel bad for mentioning this coolness. Like, maybe its like comparing someone who's gone into the pro-division of Awesome with people who are still learning the T-ball version of being cool.
Um, randomly, I liked Madara all the sudden being goofy Uncle Tobi for a moment and telling Karin she needs to get out of the way before the overflow of the fight hurts her. It is strangely sweet. Though, I suppose I should wonder if Madara wants Sasuke to kill this gaint-eyeball ex-Hokage creepizoid or if he wants Danzou to kill Sasuke.
Also, I wonder if Madara only has one eye because Danzou has one of his? Naaahhhh.....
ETA: More about the eyes. If Kakashi's ONE eye can drain him so much, how does Danzou do it? Even covered,most of the time, once they started getting use, who does he stay powered up? Do you really need more eyes than the two to create things like the Suzunoo? Does Danzou even have friends enough to murder to get the more advanced eyes? WHAT POSSIBLE USE!!!!!
I suppose we shall see in the next chapter or so, but my mind will always wonder what use.
