my favourite female character: Ino and Hinata

my favourite male character: Shikamaru

my favourite book/season/etc: Unpopular opinion- I like the timeskip better. Specifically, I really liked the arc where Asuma is avenged. It was just clever and had some emotional gravitias.

my favourite episode (if it's a tv show): I've never really watched the anime. Does this make me a bad fan?

my favourite cast member:N/A

my favourite relationship: Neji and Hinata. Romantic, platonic, or just clan politics. I find these two really fascinating.

For an OTP though, I'd probably say Ino/Shikamaru. Just can't imagne either with anyone else.

a character I'd die defending: Ino, hands down. I find it really sad everyone seems to think she is a boy-crazy flake of a friend who's a blonde bimbo. Um, excuse me. Sakura is the one who stops being friends with Ino when she hears an unsubstantiated rumor that Ino *might* like the same boy she does, but is choosing not to act on it. Ino is smart, and a good friend.

a character I just can't sympathize with: Obito. Well, And Sasuke. And Madara. I swear there are Uchiha I do like though.

a character I grew to love: Itachi and all of Team Taka.

my anti otp:Shikamaru/Temari. Sadly, I think the story will go with them paired up, if it goes with any pairing. I just find Temari a rather hard to connect with, which is sad because she's supposed to be a kickass female character.

I'm quite fond of the post-Timeskip stories too. I don't see the ~sudden downslide of quality~ so many others were complaining about.

I wish we'd seen more of Hyuuga clan politics, instead of the thing being dropped entirely.

People say Ino's a bad friend? IDGI. And the more recent chapters have gone out of their way to confirm that.

Lol, I think I've been growing more and more sympathetic to Sasuke, or have been since I picked up the manga again.

Well, at least there will always be fanfic for the politics!

I have really enjoyed seeing team ten being confirmed as such friends and those who work together. Such an interesting comparison to team seven who always competes against itself, even in this latest chapter. I will be interested to see them work together..

As for Sasuke, I don't know. Since he killed Danzou and decided to destroy the ear, I ha e had a hard time sympathizing, especially after he stabbed Karin in the back. This last chapters saw glimmers of the old Sasuke, which I like but felt was essentially unearned. Weirdly I love Itachi though...
