'Whatever It Takes' Floydmeister Mega-Picspam

I got around to watching Whatever it Takes--a relatively run-of-the-mill teen comedy--a few weeks ago as part of my Aaron Paul fangirly back catalogue trip. The (bland) protagonists, Ryan, Ashley and Maggie, are played by actors I don't really know at all, yet some of the secondary characters are played by the likes of James Franco, Aaron Paul and ( Read more... )

Wow, you're quick off the mark! No problem! Hope my editing (lj-cut was playing a few games with me :P) didn't interfere with your saving process.

Oh God, how young and adorable is he! And smiling all the time! Oh, grunge-style, how I miss you (random thought: since Aaron is one month younger than me, I can totally imagine him being into grunge when it was big, in the 90's. The other posibility would had been techno but that just sucked...)! Aaron looks so silly and cute, I can't help but giggle and grin all the time now.

Mr Franco looks rather douchy indeed in that movie, but I love Colin Hanks being there with Aaron. Awesome picspam!

Isn't he just! I don't think I've ever giggled so much at the sheer cuteness of a character like I did with Floyd. It's such a far cry from his more recent darker roles with BB and Big Love.

Ah the good ol' days of grunge--I miss it too, not least of all the music :P On your random thought, I'd imagine him to have been more of a grunger than a techno-raver type, although the idea of him as a stoned raver in fluoro clothing does make me laugh no end. I'm only about 3 years younger, and when I read somewhere about Fraggle Rock being one of his most distinct childhood memories, I squeed majorly :D

The film was pretty good overall--it wasn't too corny, mainly because of those excellently-performed secondary characters. And thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the image-fest :)

So cute!

I know I saw this movie on TV some time after I started watching Breaking Bad without ever realizing that was him; ever since I found out, I've been wanting to go back and watch it again, but this is an adequate substitute (for now), so thank you so much for posting these.

You're welcome :)

I think I may have seen Aaron on The X-Files years ago without knowing it was him. He seems to have made one-off appearances on so many shows that chances are many of us have seen him without realising it!

I cannot believe he was 21 when he did this movie. He seriously looks like he's about 14!

LOL, he does! I'm not certain of it, but I gathered that the characters are in their senior year as they're discussing college options, yet Aaron looks like he should still be a junior with his other friends :D

I suppose he's just one of those people that is blessed with looking younger in age than he actually is--lucky man!

Aw, thanks! As a teen I pretty much grew up with Daria and Buffy, so both those gals will always occupy a special place in my heart <3
