Hey, look! It's my first RL post! dun dun dun....
So......HI ALL! :D
Just thought I'd post a random RL posting, because, well... I can.
First off, a big hello to all new friends!
(which is pretty much all of you seeing as up until not so long ago I was a complete lj virgin.)
okay so not really sure how I'm meant to go about this so I'll just start my ramblings...
I'm going to New Zealand!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D
I just got the confirmation through today! Me and my friend are going away at the end of October for 6 weeks! AND I AM EXCITED!!!
We're flying out to Bangkok, travelling through Thailand, through Malaysia, then out of Singapore. (this is 2 weeks) Then on to NZ for a month, travelling around both islands and doing lots of cool things! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Although the downside of all this is it is VERY expensive, but hey ho! It's worth it! :D Just means I have to do a bit more (MUCH more) overtime at work.
In other news...
I saw Shutter Island today - very good film! VERY clever. But I won't say anymore because I hate it when people give stuff away. Just GO WATCH IT! Even if your not that much of a Leo Dicaprio fan (I mean I thought he was an ok actor but I wasn't one of his many dedicated followers, but his acting in this is REALLY GOOD.)
Also, I went to Waterstones today! This may seem like a really lame thing to be excited about but I am a major book whore as my friends say, and I've imposed a self-made ban on myself over the last few months from the store because I spend way too much every time I go in there, and I need munnies!!
I think that'll do for rambling for now, so...bye! *waves*
