Most people don't think about this:
When you ask me if I'm returning to Tulane in the spring or not, it offends me. No, I won't give up on the city or the school. I may have been deeply affected by the catastrophe, but there is nothing hindering my ability to return, such as losing my home or family. It offends me as an assault on my character. I can't handle an inconvenience so I had to run back home forever. <-- previous sentence = sarcasm.

Tulane administrators, while conceding they won't have a fix on the enrollment until students appear, take comfort in preliminary feedback. Among 1,782 residence-hall students surveyed, just 23 said they weren't coming back and 10 were undecided, Cowen said.  - NOLA.com

NOW ask me if I'm returning or not.

P.S. I guarantee 95% of you reading this aren't among those "people" I mentioned. So don't sweat it.
