Not only one day....but on right after another.
I think the last time I updated was in April, so I'll do my best to catch you up.
Completed first year in architecture school, raped the hell out of my final review. For every criticism that the reviewers came up with, I had a reason for why I did what I did. The entire project was completely thought out, and I only left a few details sketchy.
Came home early to see Andrew, Anita, and Ryan before they left for Paris for 5 weeks.
Saw Audrey graduate from North Texas. Ate a lot of food. Dad got really drunk. Hilarious.
Drove home.
Returned, and started working at an architecture firm... the same one I was at last year, but this time as an intern. I walked in the first day, and they asked me if I had any AutoCAD experience. Of course, I replied "no." Then they proceeded to give me a bunch of redlines to correct in AutoCAD. I learned pretty quickly...
The main project I have been working on is a courthouse in Tucson. It's historical preservation, which is pretty interesting. Then there is also the only remaining Victorian house in Scottsdale. It has two secret stairwells, and half of the basement is blocked off (we are going to unblock it and see what is down there).
So my life has turned into a routine. I go to work, I sleep, I go to work, I sleep, etc. Then I chill on the weekends.
The D-Backs drafted Micah Owings from Tulane... and Tulane is looking strong to win it all this year.
http://tulanegreenwave.collegesports.com This is perhaps the most un-interesting entry I have written in two months. But at least it's an entry. (Yes, the most uninteresting out of 3).
Ciao!
