Well, we had an eventful night last night. Around 9 p.m. Jared decided to take the foil from a piece of chocolate Easter candy, ball it up, and see how far up his nose he could put it. Apparently, he could put it up there pretty far. All the way to his sinus cavity, to be exact. I tried for 30 minutes to stop the bleeding and dislodge the foil, but it didn't work. Jared was screaming and freaking out because he said it hurt, but everytime he moved it either went further up or it became harder to move. So, alas, I had to take him to the ER. Such a fun evening. Of course, Jared couldn't plan his experiment at an early hour, say 6 p.m. He had to wait until I was ready for bed. So, of course, since every trip to the ER is so speedy, I didn't make it to bed until it was a few hours shy of when I needed to wake up for work. There was no way I could have handled the rigor of school today with my back hurting and an extreme lack of sleep. I think we stayed in bed until sometime near 12. I didn't bother to look at the clock.
The doctor was funny last night. She told Jared, "Paper is yucky when it comes out of your nose. This is much better. More exciting."
