(no subject)
It certainly has been a long time since I've updated. Well I saw Opeth in Chicago and I couldn't be happier. It was an incredible show and wow. I also managed to bag two jobs. One at Wal-Mart and one at FedEx. I'm going to work both of them for a while, but once I can't take it anymore I'm plan on dropping Wal-Mart.
Here is a version of my update that illustrates where I am in my brain right now...
Thursday:
Started staying up late to try and get into a nighttime schedule so I can work my night shift at FedEx a little easier. (Just in case I got the job.)
I was up until about 330am Thursday morning before I went to sleep. I was awaken by a call at around 8 o'clock in the AM. It was Sean telling me to come into FedEx on Tuesday for my first day of work.
YES! MONTHS without a job and now I finally have one!
At this point I'm too excited to go back to sleep and proceed to tell my mom the good news.
I get on the computer and try to distract my brain so I can go back to sleep. At around 930 in the AM I got a call from Wal-Mart asking me to come into Orientation next week some time. They want me working produce and floral (go figure).
YES! MONTHS without a job and now I have two!
Wait...what the Hell? Yeah so now I have two jobs and how am I supposed to sleep now?
Around 1130 in the AM James shows up...shit, it's time to go to Chicago to see Opeth. Can't turn that shit down, it's too good to be true: two jobs and Opeth at the House of Blues in the same day. IN-TENSE.
Friday:
After the show it's about 12am-1am. We went to stop by Ann Arbor to visit Carolyn. We stay the night there. I have to sleep on a bed with Carolyn that is really kind of hard and shaped funny. Plus it was insanely cold...but it turns out that is because someone (Carolyn) decided to open the window before sleeping. Needless to say I didn't sleep for very long, probably a total of 3 or 4 hours.
Well we hung out around Ann Arbor for a few hours wandering the streets with Carolyn. It was a blast. We went to Star Bucks where I got to use my gift card for the first time.
Finally we head back home. It is now about 930 in the PM and I couldn't be much more tired. I was supposed to hang out with Devin tonight, and I was supposed to stay awake until ... well late, to try and get myself on a proper schedule. Well, kids, looks like I'm going to be going to bed now instead.
Tomorrow is supposed to be an interesting day. Possibly jam out with Lance at Tony's; possibly work on Mr. B with Devin; possibly go with Devin and Lance to jam out at Tony's; family movie day around 1 o'clock in the PM.
