I am enrolled in the following five classes and need to cut it down to three or two:
1. Gender Studies: it's gender studies (my post-bac focus) and it's interesting, and the prof is good, but is it useful? How much new material will I actually learn?
2. Financial Accounting: It's business, and it's very useful.
3. Introductory Biology: It's interesting, pretty useful, and I need it for Health Sciences. I think it won't be too hard. I will have to miss an hour of lecture every week.
4 Human behaviour in business origanizations: it's easy and a business req, but maybe it's easy to the point where it's only good as a business req, and not in actual life. Probably going to drop this.
5. Health Sciences... okay, I'm dropping this one for sure.
If I cut it down to three, I will have to either not run for re-election, or run the risk of getting slightly lower grades, or contract out (oops - apparently, we aren't allowed to do this, even in Business). I refuse to stress myself out like I did last semester, and since only gender studies has final papers, I should be good there. Otherwise, I cut it down to two.
To get into the business program, I need a 3.0ish GPA overall
To get into the health sciences grad diploma... I just ned to apply and they'll probably take me
To get into the health sciences masters program, I need a 3.33, or to transfer in from the grad diploma.
To get value for my time and money, I need to learn something useful
To do my job as the XRO, I need enough time to do my job.
To be happy, I need to not be superstressed.
I do not need to run for re-election.
And I like being in gender studies, health/biology and business.
I guess the decision's been made. I'll take another look around in the first week, maybe drop another class.
