Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?

Goodness. About 5'8" standing straight, which he NEVER does. He's continuously hunched over. Very skinny, bony, the whole bit. A bit like a heroin junkie, without the heroin.

2. How old is he?

22 or 24, depending on when I'm playing him.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?

See the above about his hunch. Of JUSTICE.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?

He should be in a diabetic coma, but he's not. His health is surprisingly good, considering. Very flexible.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?

Awkward is a good way to describe his movement. Very tense in the shoulders. Oddly dainty in the way he holds things and eats.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?

If ugly is the new pretty, he's golden. He tries not to look in the mirror, although he does occasionally see his reflection in windows.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?

Pale. Very pale. Dark circles under his eyes.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.

Black, shiny, messy. Probably easy to get your hand stuck in.

A dark grey often mistaken for black.

No eyebrows.

11. What are his chief tension centers?

Shoulders, ankles.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?

He's fluent in English, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, and French, and has a working knowledge of Russian, Italian, German and Arabic. Oh yes.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?

He thinks about his words, but he doesn't trip over his words when he does speak.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?

Usually eloquent. This would only change under extreme duress. (i.e. being attacked by B. ;_;)

Mental and Emotional

1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?

THE SMARTEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED. And he's more book smart than street smart, but he has a good grasp of common sense, especially when it comes to the motives of criminals.

The murder of his parents and being taken in by Wammy's House. The LABB murder case. The Kira case.

Being a god-like figure no one can live up to. Beyond Birthday. Losing grip on reality. And Near, just a little bit.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?

That the detective known as L won't die with him.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?

His successors - Not exactly part of his family, but they are his legacy. He feels a connection to them through that.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?

Honestly? I think it's Mello. Even though they only met once, and Mello was like 11. L took the time to tell him stories and give him advice. I think he felt a connection to Mello that he didn't have with Near.

Other than Watari, no. Light Yagami was never a friend, no matter what L says. He's a liar.

Beyond Birthday and Kira have been his biggest enemies. He's had rival detectives, whom he has defeated.

Horrified blank. Awkward and dirty. Unnecessary.

JUSTIIIIIIIIICE. Nothing would compromise it. NOTHING.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
