Despite having so much to do, I decided to stop at the mall this morning after spending an hour at the library. The only parking option was offsite parking - at 11am on a weekday morning! I don't know what led me to stay and attempt to shop, but I did.
The only reason I wanted to go to the mall was to check out Skin Market, a store similiar to Bath & Body Works with all kinds of fun stuff. Well, apparently that store went out of business, because when I got there I found a calendar shop in its place. Even though I don't normally visit calendar shops (they're way too expensive, IMO), I decided to go in for a peak anyway. I found a really cute hamster calendar, and since Margaret is now obsessed with hamsters (thanks to me :D), I decided to buy it for her. When I brought the calendar to the cashier, some teeny bopperish looking girl with braces and TONS of blue eyeshadow, she picked up the phone, dialed and started giggling away with whoever was at the other end. ERMMM.
I patiently waited for about 2 minutes, but then opted to leave without the calendar - I'm so not the person to disrespect if you want my business. I'm surprised I waited as long as I did.
I ended up leaving the mall empty handed, but I did do some shopping last night. I just got more stuff for my grandpa, actually. So, I'm still in the same position - I need to buy presents for the same people.
Charles is going to my aunts' Christmas party with me! Yayay! LOL, this should be interesting.. especially considering what he plans to bring for the gift exchange game thingy =X <33
Before I even left the house this morning, I tried to help my grandpa with his Christmas cards. I love my grandpa tons, but he was stressing me out big time. I'd be in the middle of a card for one person, and he'd start telling me what to write on a card for someone else. Or when I would finish writing a sentence, I'd ask what else I should say - and he'd ask me to read back what he had already said (or who we were writing to!). He's not that forgetful, really. He just wasn't paying attention, I guess! Another thing I really don't like is when he asks me to "just write something thoughtful" to people he knows who are sick.
Nap time. I'll complete my list of tasks later :P
