Checkout Operative : Oh, hya. Are you on you on your own today?
Customer With Full Trolley : Yeah. He's left me to it today.
CO : Where is he today, then?
CWFT : He's at watching the cats.
CO : Washing the cats? Why, are they dirty?
CWFT : No, WATCHING the cats.
CO : Watching? Cats?
CWFT : Yeah.
CO : What, you mean he's just sat at home watching the cats? And he's sent you to do the shopping?
CWFT : Yeah. I brought some girl cats home to mate with my boy.
CO : Oh. Er. Nice. (at this point the conversation dries, and the CO concentrates on scanning the CWFT's purchases at double-quick speed)
