My Classes this semester:
Blue-Jazz and the American Novel: An interesting topic, good novels... professor is a young guy who thinks he is so cutting-edge and is mired in the masturbation that is literary theory.
Intro to Media Writing: Man, I suck for not taking this two years ago when I was supposed to, it's even worse being in a shitty class with a bunch of underclassmen I don't know instead of my friends.
Film Production I: Working with this guy Greg. I don't know him too well, but I think it will be a good lesson in collaboration and hopefully we will produce something to be proud of.
WUAG Practicum: Awesome, 400-level credit in my major for doing what I already love to do. Jack gave me two hours of class-work credit just for replacing some stolen tom waits albums with burned copies and reviewing them.
Animation Production: My Favorite class. Oh man, so awesome. I can't even describe how much fun it is and how awesome the prof is. He is open to all styles of animation and totally down with experimentation, but without being a total hippie (ie- he expects effort and craftmanship)
Actuality Genres: Jellicorse is as boring as ever, but I love the subject matter. We watched Nanuk of the North last week. fuck yeah.
Also doing: the band, an overly ambitious radio show for a shitty time-slot, working
I'm lonely, but not for lack of friends.
