Smashing Pumpk... Martha
Okay, usually I don't go off on politicians and the idiocracies of celebritianism, but come on! I'm pissed off. Martha Stewart, a criminal convicted from stealing thousands of dollars from unsuspecting people, is getting the privilage to invade my space (granted it's a space that is about 20 miles in diameter, but it's MY 20miles). That's right, Marth Stealwart is coming to the lovely town of Windsor, Nova Scotia, the "birthplace of Hockey," in order to row a giant pumpkin accross a lake. Now the whole her coming to Canada isn't the thing that's bothering me... It's the way in which she is getting into this country. In order for a person with a criminal record to enter Canada, they must fill out some forms and wait for them to be accepted. Now, I know from experience (not criminal forms but immigration forms) that getting the paper work through the Canadian government takes at least a year... maybe even more! The she pounces in and makes a big deal about it and what happens? She gets her paper work done in a matter of days! DAYS! NOT MONTHS, NOT YEARS, BUT DAYS!!! Now I'm going to have that abomination of a lich (see D&D) creeping around the country side. All I know, is that I'm fuckin' locking up my bike, my front door (which goes to a balcony), my window, and the entrance door. Hell, I'm even taking my laptop home, which is kept in a locked room behind an electronic locked door. There is no way in hell she's going to steal my stuff. What a bitch. Criminals should not get the special treatment no matter how rich they are (course they are probably rich because of other people's money). Stealwart should have to suffer the penalties associated with becoming a Felon. Bitch.
