It's been a while since my last journal update, so this may be a big post. My brother finished signing the papers and everything on his new house. It's a nice house. It reminds me of my friend James McHenry's place when he lived in West Newbury. The house has a pool in the back yard and also has a large fenced in area to keep horses. Of course, my dad and my brother's father in-law just tore the fence down. They had to be careful not to step in any horse shit.
I've been hired by my sister to assasinate Chris. Apparently, that's my job. Judge, Juror, and Executioner: Judge Nick. Chris broke up with her last night. She's been bawling all day. Blasting her music "I'm SOOOOO Lonely.... MR. LONELY.... I GOT NOBODY... TO CALL my bitch.." something like that... Oh yeah... and some Mariah Carey song. It doesn't stop. One can only hear "We belong together" so many times until they snap and kill someone. Crazy... haven't seen my neighbor's dog in a week... muah hahaha. Oh, and on other sister news, she's now out of school and ready to hang off my arm for the rest of the summer.
Anyways, I helped dad with the car today. We installed new shocks in the front of the truck and then rotated the tires. I wound up breaking 3 ratchet heads trying to get the bolts off. Sucked. But dad picked up a T-bar at Auto Center and we got the bolts off fine after that. We now need to change the exhaust, put some new plugs in, change the air filter, oil-change, add some coolant, etc. Fun stuff. I like working on the car. Course, I have some ignorent people in my family who just can't see me doing manual labor. Some people just don't change. Anyways, my truck should be ready for when I head up to NS.
Well, I'm getting ready to head up North. I've called my advisor and informed him of when I will be in Wolfville. At that time, I'll be able to look at the Acadia campus a little more and see where I'll be living for two years. Michelle will be coming with me, so she'll finally meet Germán. It'll be fun. She came down for five days or so last week. We went camping at an ocean campground up in Maine. It was the first time either of us went camping at the Ocean. The first day was ugly, the first night was fun. We had a crazy thunder and lightning storm. Let's say Michelle was scared to death and kept on jumping on me (I'm being modest, she always tells me that modesty is the best policy). The mousquitos ate her up (modesty...) while I relaxed with my 100% deet. The next day was gorgeous. I went skin diving in my boxers (swim suit was at the campsite). Michelle thought the water was too cold to come in. The Atlantic Ocean, cold... never... Course, she was wearing white underwear and the water would make them nearly translucent... muah hahaha. I manged to observe the greatest battle in the history of the world (not mankind... the WORLD). It took place between Hermit the hermit crab and 3 other crabs. I could only explain it with a pen and paper... or as Elaine knows... Pool Balls. Anyways, we had a fun time and the trip turned out to be nice and relaxing. I was disappointed to see Michelle go back to NS, though. But, I'll see her when I go back up north for my friend Doug's wedding.
Well, that's enough for now. Maybe I'll write more later... we'll see.
Ciao
