"So it isn't the end of the world for the world to stop now and then,
No it isn't the end of the world. Soon the world will be spinning,
And I'll be beginning again."
- Brownstone (a musical I listened to a couple days ago) -

"Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but she did it backwards and in high heels."
- Faith Whittlesey -

Tuesday: Worked at my Dad's office all day and listened to Bye Bye Birdie (the movie version), Jane Eyre, The Prodigal, and the Into the Woods revival. Bye Bye Birdie was fine, Janey Eyre is beautiful, I LOVE The Prodigal and would like to be in it in the Phoenix some day, and I hated Into the Woods. The original recording is so much better. Tuesday night, I went to Somerset with Tammy and Lisa for dinner, shopping, and talking. That was a lot of fun, and it was great to see Lisa definitely.

Wednesday: Worked again. CDs listened to: Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens (I enjoyed it a lot), Brooklyn: The Musical (I LOVED it), the 42nd Street revival (meh, it's fine), and Brownstone (liked it a lot...a lot of good solos). Then came Julia's track meet, where she ran very well. The day ended with Bex, Hannah, and I meeting for coffee at Starbucks.

Thursday: Worked again. CDs listened to: Lil' Abner (couldn't even finish it, hated it so much), Assassins revival (LOVED it, especially Neil Patrick Harris), and Big: The Musical (it was all right). Yesterday night, Jordy came over around 6:30ish and we went out to La Shish for dinner. Then we came back and played ping pong for a bit, he had a political discussion with my dad, and we watched Pay It Forward. It was a great night. :-)

Today, Friday: Slept in and then went to work at 1:30. CDs listened to: Big River and the first couple tracks of Honk. Love BOTH of them a LOT. Dad and I left work and picked up Jules. We went to Somerset, ate CPK (mmmm), and bought Mother's Day stuff.

I'm now home and Jordy is probably going to come over tonight. We may watch a movie. I really want to go bowling, so we'll see.

This weekend, I'm probably going to drive to Ann Arbor to hang out with Becca. We are going to go see a Tennessee Williams play and then I'll sleep over Saturday night. Sunday, all day, is family time in Ann Arbor with the entire Mom's side of the family for Mother's Day/Julia's birthday (although Jules doesn't know that we're celebrating her birthday yet). Should be a fun weekend.

I'm happy with life right now. I miss my school friends a lot, but I'm excited to start working in WI soon and I can't wait to see Nickster and LoJo.

I can't believe I missed Julia Vanderveen's first drunken night. That sucks balls. But she promised me last night that she and I would drink together sometime in the Fall.

Half done with college. I keep remembering that as if it is some new concept. Can't believe I'm half done. Two more years and it's off to the real world I go.

All in all, a great week. I'm quite content with everything. More later.
