If you've been missing the old station since it was replaced by "El Zol," you can hear what's left of 'HFS via AOL radio at WHFS.com. oh, YAY! first song up is very bunnymen-ish, guitar-wise. it doesn't identify the song, sorry to say, but yeah, that's the HFS sound. :)

jeff and i were talking just yesterday about the recording we'd heard online of the moment the station switched formats. still a tragedy. though, y'know, i do like the area's spanish-language stations. el Zol? hmm.

When I listened via AOL earlier, the songs were identified. Maybe it behaves differently for outsiders? It's good that the station goes on in some version, though. I listened to 'HFS pretty often in the mid to late '80s. Then again, I listened to everything in the mid to late '80s. :-)
