I wanna forgive the both of us
So that was a great night. MAN it was what I needed.
I left home around 9.20 for town with gear to stay over, etc.. but I couldn't park near Mindy's. Grr. Drove around the streets near there a bit then decided I'd go to trusty Tory St. I parked there and actually paid for once.
I met Neha and went up to the apartment where Matt's friends live. We watched the end of Stir of Echoes and then Neha, Matt and I went out - starting at Milk. I hadn't been there before, it's quite fancy. You have to go down this long dark hallway to get there. They don't take credit, really, so I had to eftpos our first round. The blonde standing next to me looked at me funny but I brushed it off. I went down the other end to pay and when I came back she was all like, "Kat. It's ANG!!" - it was Angie! My GOD I didn't recognise her. She's looking really good.. very blonde. She was pretty drunk so I only talked to her for a short bit.. apparently the kids are 10 and 12 now! scary! I got her new number so I can visit her one weekend and really catch up.
We moved on to Shooters - where the Grand used to be, and basically the same! They played neat music. Lots of pop/dance stuff.. exactly what I felt like dancing to. Jump (for my love), My Prerogative, Move Your Feet, Trick Me and tons more. We got a shaker called a Pink Pussy - it was really nice.. tasted like strawberry milkshake, tho, really. ;)
We then moved next door to Coyote's and danced a bit there. I bought cookie monsters - good fun.. they make the flames much bigger now! $12 each.. yikes.
After Coyote's we went to Red Square. We were really wanting Blow, but that's not there anymore and well, apparently Red Square is the place to go. I introduced Matt and Neha to Absinthe and we all got a really warm buzz off it. I think then I had a jack & coke and a vodka lime & lemon.. I was gone. Lots of dancing. I believe I was doing my ballet turns?? crazy. Matt's friend Graeme joined us after 3 and then we left around 3.15. They walked me up to Austin St which was great of them and I went into Mindy's and slept around 4.15.
Got up at 8.30 and walked down to Tory to get the car - hooray it was still there. Drove it up to Mindy's and slept another 2 hours. Got up, had some subway cookies and drove home. Feeling so relaxed right now.. wish I had another day off! Well, at least it's early, plenty of time to enjoy it.
