the modern lovers by the modern lovers is an album that is pretty much my anthem at the moment. It was produced by john cale of velvet underground infamy. the leader of it, jonathon richman, was so inspirational to so many artists. he grew up in the same neighborhood as my mother and for whatever reason dropped out of harvard. I'd love to have the opportunity to speak to the man, the legend. he wanted to grow dignified and old and I feel that he has in a sense. i just want to sit down and have a conversation with the man.
