A friend from KL randomly asked if I've read 'Eat, Pray, Love' last night.
Before I could reply with excitement. He had to say: The book is funny and insightful, but the movie sucks !
Most people who read the book didn't quite like the movie. I've 3 friends (and counting) who thought so. I know some people just walk in with the negativity that a movie would never justify a book. I've to agree to a certain extend, however no genius can put a book into a 2 hour movie ! Anything more than 2 hour is tricky. I enjoy both the book and the movie. Each gives me totally different pleasure.
Julia Robert. Aww.... I can't think of anyone with that age and grace to do that role perfectly.
A quote that melt me:
"To lose balance sometime for love is a part of living a balanced life".
Those who have not read the book, tell me what do you think ? :)
