I got the most horrible today while I was walking from the Metra station to work (twenty minutes in a horrible humidity, under the hot sun and with no sunglasses so I kept squinting) and it still hasn't gone away. It's been almost twelve hours now what the fuck. Agh.
Anyhow, work was all right but I was sort of pissed that one of my fellow employees went to work last week (after like weeks of not really doing anything) and wrote ALL the April charts that were left. So, instead of writing some April charts and entering some, I ended up only entering them all day which only made my headache worse. For the record, writing the charts is the easier/better part. And of course, as always, the charts he wrote had a lot of incomplete and incorrect parts so I had to look up the files and write in a bunch of those missing/wrong parts. Blah.
Being on campus feels a bit odd during the summer. Almost like you're not supposed to be there -- all the buildings close early and all the sidewalks are empty and the buses/shuttles that run aren't running. Pretty weird.
So I joined Scott's gym and we've gone a few times and hopefully will go more! Also, I'm hoping to buy a bike and then we can go bike riding on the trails of all the forest preserves around his house. They're lovely.
Wow news? Been going good. Have not done a whole other than reputation grind. Scott and I got beta keys to the game Aion which is coming out like later this year. It's pretty similar to WoW but you can customize your character a lot more and is coming out by the same company that put out Guild Wars (NC Soft). It was pretty fun and the graphics were nice.
We first made two characters on the "Elyos" side (equivalent to Alliance) and got them to about level 9 or 10 or so? I don't remember. I made a mage (in later levels you specificy what kind of mage) and he made a priest.
Pretty, no?
