(no subject)
Summer is halfway over. I still haven't found a job, but it really would be useless right now since I'm going to be traveling for the next few weeks.
Hurricane Dennis didnt do any real damage up here, though Becky told me it was raining pretty hard in Miami. We got random storming and just a really windy day. Damn, storm season.
I'm going to Colombia on July 21st, cuz my maternal Grandmother's 80th birthday party is on the 22nd. Most of the family is going to be there. Then, I'm just going to chill in Medellin for about 2 weeks.
I come back with my mom, only to leave a few days later for New York for my line sister's wedding, which is on the 13th of August.
I'm not sure what is going on with another one of my friend's wedding plans, cuz she was suppose to have a wedding in August too, but I havent heard from her, so I'm not sure what up. If its not happening, I still want to go visit Miami, and see some friends that I haven't seen in a long time.
So, my summer plans have been going okay, I just wish I could have a job so I dont feel like a lazy bum.
Brian who is a job placement coordinator at a college in New York, worked on my resume, and made it so that is looked really good and was easier for my to change whenever I had to add something to it. I think I'll write him a thank you card.
I'm not sure how my trip to New York is going to go, cuz I had wanted to go to a lot of different places on top of Valerie's wedding, but I had counted on staying with Evelina. But she is going to be busy with law school orientations, and stuff. We'll see what happens. I might go with my younger brother and stay with family.
I'm excited for Colombia though, its so beautiful. I wish I had a digital camera so I could post pics.
Oh, and I might join a gym too. =)
