ok this happened awhile ago, i guess im fucking screwed (i was the person on the internet and scott was the kid i was pretending to be and he was on the phone taling to jay)
Hoax
CAMPTON, N.H. (AP) - Police officials aren’t sure they can do anything about a hoax perpetrated via the Internet that resulted in five police departments searching for a phantom assault victim and his assailant.
Thornton resident Kathy Warn said her son, Jason, was conversing Monday evening via the Internet with a friend in Meredith who told him he may have killed another friend by accident.
The friend chose the wrong person for the hoax because Jason Warn’s father is Campton Police Chief Chris Warn who took the confession seriously.
"I was pretty sure it was a hoax," the chief said later, "but I couldn’t take the chance," he said.
Officers found Jason’s friend at 2:45 a.m. at the home of the supposed victim.
"What is aggravating is that the State of New Hampshire has no laws addressing this sort of behavior," Kathy Warn said. "In other states, there are serious penalties for using the Internet in such a way. New Hampshire has got to get serious and up to date on Internet crime."
Chief Warn said he will turn his report to Thornton Police Chief Walter Joyce for followup.

ok so if that sounds funny which it kinda is, its actually not, this shit was on Channel 9 news, i may have a $400 fine, i may have jail time, this may be a felony, it is a Class A Misdemeanor, and with in an hour they can put a warrant out for my arrest.
i have a meeting with officer mcdaniels this week end.
