Road trip?
I guess you could say I’m on one of those, more like an interstellar across the galaxy type of road trip but road trip all the same.
Road trips are about getting away, seeing the sights, and exploring the world outside of your door and your neighbourhood. I never do anything by half that’s for damn certain.
My road trip involves wormholes, aliens with tentacles coming out of orifices that I dare not name, and pissed off warrior women.
It all started with the best of intentions, discover a new way to fly only I got shot through a wormhole and landed up right where I am. You got any idea how confusing it is when a six foot something alien dude is coming at you talking like he’s had one too many spins on the Ferris wheel?
The thing about road trips is that they’re not supposed to last forever and as far as I can tell I’m going to be on this one for the rest of my natural life, not that I’m complaining because it’s taught me a lot and I’ve got a family and friends that I didn’t have before.
Just would’ve been nice to go home one last time.
