I have a question for you all.

This ballot has me curious about something. For those of you aware of your previous demise; that is, knowing that you have died, and are now alive again; would you want to return home? Would that not put you in a situation where you are immediately dead again? Would we be returned to a point before our death so ( Read more... )

[a chat between dead people, eh? Fine, he'll bite.]

That would depend on which sounds less appealing: to cease one's existence, or to live one that is basically meaningless.

I accomplished what I had set out to do in my life. I appreciate the new friends I have, but, I really have nothing left to return to.

So, you would be fine with living here even if all of your friends returned home. Alone with the drones.

At that point, I believe I would be bored with this place. However, we've yet to come to that point

But in your hypothetical situation, in which the ballot produces ideal results, then we will have nearly come to that point. I estimate the number of non-drones that would wish to stay here is under 20%.

But that to is under the assumption that people will truly be sent home, and this is not another ploy to deceive the populous.

Yes. However, I believe we have established that this is a "What if" scenario from the very beginning. Weren't you paying attention?

If your question was actually, "which way are you voting," then I have to say I'm simply not interested.

Yes, that is right.

I have no reason to return home. I do not know if I should vote at all to play along,v or not.

I see.

Well, you must realize that a vote to stay could also mean a vote against going home. But you yourself said that you would tire of this place if it were nothing but drones.

So, are you self serving enough to keep your friends here with you, or would you prefer termination for the greater purpose?

I have died for the greater purpose once before. If all of my friends leave, and I am unable to socialize any further, then I shall wish to leave as well, even if it returning to my unbeing.

[B can't relate. As much as he wouldn't mind ridding himself of this empty life, there isn't anyone in Mayfield that he believes would be worth dying for.]

Is a social life that important?

I believe it is, yes. That's what I've come to gather in my existence.
