Big difference between going to a concert in LA and in San Francisco or Santa Cruz:
In SF or SC, you can see a shitty band who blatantly rips off the Misfits, and chuckle to yourself as you think,"If only they'd play a cover of 'Where Eagles Dare.'" But they won't actually play it.
In LA, rest assured they WILL play it, and they'll butcher it. Dude, you're not fucking Danzig or even Jerry Only. Even if you do have the hair thing going on.
