Well! Rejection #4 from the Shaw Festival! I mean it was as good as a rejection could be; a direct email from the lady in charge, specifically addressed to me. They seem very keen on making it clear they are interested and I should keep applying, but man ( Read more... )

Yeah, I don't really have the excuse of being a young artist anymore...

I mean, it's a little frustrating, but I suppose I'd prefer it to just utter "and...you...are...?" indifference.

true. I guess this is a kind of Emerging Artist type of program. Emerging is the cool new word these days.

In theatre I think you can spin it to basically mean "still has a day job".
