Refilming today. Will I fuck it up? Who knows.
Yesterday I was told [by one of my actors] that I'm a bad director.
"If he wants more from his actors, he needs to be a better director."
Which confused me, because the actress saying that didn't know her lines at all.
If I want more from my actors... I'd appreciate it if they even vaguely knew their lines.
The scene is only 4 pages long... even I can remember 4 pages over 3 weeks.
I don't know... maybe it's true, though. Maybe I'm not a good director.
I know my movies look nice and receive honorable nods from a lot of people, but maybe I lack that part that communicates with actors.
Oh well, actors are bitches, anyway.
