Enslaved Verse ( chains_of_Grace ) is an AU in which Adam is only Half Angel and has had his powers nerfed down - A LOT.

Character Name: Adam Young
Race: Angel Halfling
History: Adam Young was ‘adopted’ by the Young family when he was a baby. The family had just lost their second child to miscarriage when they discovered the abandoned Halfling in the alleyway beside the hospital. They took the child in, neither having the heart to leave him there. At that point, Adam probably seemed like a gift to them.
They moved to the small village of Tadfield and home schooled Adam along with his sister, Sarah, and hid his wings away in hopes no one would discover what Adam really was. They didn’t want the Halfling taken away from them, however unrealistic that thought might have been.. They raised him to be human and, despite knowing that he wasn’t, not completely, Adam more or less acted as such.
Adam’s life was pretty quiet and carefree until he was 18. A few weeks after his celebrated birthday, a group of Hunters, lead by a demon, were passing through the village. The Hunters were professionals and it was a hot day - too hot for layered clothing*. Adam, naive and trusting, didn’t stand any sort of chance. They didn’t hurt Adam too bad, but the demon made it clear he would be visiting Adam again. Seeing no alternative, Adam explained the situation to his family and, with what little money he had saved up, left Tadfield, not wanting the demon anywhere near his family.
In America, Adam found work at a garage and as a carpenter. He has a deep-seated distrust of Hunters, Owners, and Demons which he feels is just more incentive to keep his Halfling nature hidden. He doesn’t mind if people find out, he’d just prefer they didn’t. When he can, he helps out with the Freedom movement, ranging from handing out flyers to hiding runaway/escaped angels.
Other: *When he got older, his wings grew to the point where they would have to be bound to his back and at least two layers of clothing was required to hide the bump. The wings weren’t too big, for a Halfling (the wing span only 2 or 3 feet), but they were perfectly formed.
His Power is Telekinesis though he tries to be careful with it in public. Tries being the keyword there.
