Whats new
Brief run down of life since I last updated
My mum went to Sydney on Thursday night to see nick while he was working up ther and they both came back on Saturday night but I didn’t see them till Sunday arvo
I stayed in and started a new artwork Thursday night and was up till 4am just doing basic drawing
But was too tired to do much
Shouldn’t have spent so long on the net but zowira kept me on talking even tho I wanted to go do some work
Mick didn’t play on Friday and it’s a shame cos I missed last week and was really intent on seeing the guys play and they ended up having an early one so I had nothing to do
Gave kate a call and really enjoyed speaking to her
Sorted some things out and it was the best convo we have had in agers
Just like old times
Shes taken Fridays and Saturdays off work so we should be able to catch up a lot more
She invited me round to theres sat night for a house party and it was good to catch up with the girls
As a project she had to make a band and market them so she designed a lesbian punk rock band called pink venom
The three of them wer members and she based the group around edited photos of em
Saturday was good went round and just hung out the girls gave us a concert (completely comedic) where they all dressed up like gothic rockers and played air guitar and other air instrument like piano and drums and amelia even did interpretive dance which was hilarious while they all sung over songs
It was a good night and even nat pulled me aside and said sorry for being cold to me lately and we worked everything and ended it with hugs
In the morn we bummed around and I met matt and was woken up by nat putting on empire records
Now that that’s over to the main issues of late
I hooked my ipod up to my mums laptop on Friday night so I could listen to music through the set up I made while I painted
I went to install itunes and it wiped my ipod
18 gig worth of homework, photos (only set of them) personal files, moves, drawings but most importantly music
it may not sound like all that much but its like ur entire life getting thrown in the bin
I ran some recovery programs and was able to selvage 8 gig woth of stuff which I copied off onto the portable hard drive (took around 24 hours of running) and rehooked everything up to the computer room comp and left recovery programs running for the last few days up until tonight
Iv finaly given up trying to recover the over odd bits and pieces and have just started to copy things back on
Ill have to recreate my music collection on it and download alota things of other ppls computers and my teachers if hes still willing but I wont have a class with him for another 2 weeks
