Talking of music kate and amelia have got me listening to a group called kent and iv found another band to add to my list of favourites
Lmao Im been asked to go jam with a blues group to see if I wana join as a vocalist
Lol kate wants to join together and sing duets and write songs

Anywas from last time
Went to Brunswick st last weekend with adam sanka hayley hella and 3 other girls I met that night
Started off at bimbos with pizzas again
Checked out the provincial and the night cat
Lmao my cousin was at the night cat and I missed her :o(
Ended up goin back to one club and spending an hour ther
It was alright im getting used to the club and its cool for a few drinks but no Brunswick st
Then met up with kate on Wednesday at bimbos again and hung around ther talking
And just walked around the streets checking out stores
Walked into another cd store and felt like a child looking at candy
Ended up buyin 2 sigur ros cds and a mogwai cd
Went to the evelyn and had a few drinks ther
Was really funny cos I almost brought the chris Cunningham dvd but decided not to and when we got into the evelyn they had this flashers of clips on the screen kate was like whoa that’s cool I could watch that all night and I stoped and said hey that’s the menu for the chris Cunningham dvd
So have to buy that
Ended up getting a lift back to flinders and made origami in the car ride ther
It was a cool night and I think Iv found a good friend in her
Friday night I went to the espy with kate to see black pony express and meet a couple of her friends
Justin has a crazy style
He uses his voice like an instrument rather than just to sing words
It was funny cos I expected him to be really charismatic and sly
He ended up being really timid and shy
It was like he walked like a puppy with its head down low and its tail between its legs
And then nick and mick showed up and I was freaked out by how nice they wer
Its was like the stars from almost famous coming to life
And we all hit it off
I sung part of bill withers - cant write left handed and he asked me to come jam with him and nick and see what we thought
Lol im hoping if I hang out with him he’ll teach me how to use all his equipment and teach me some double bass and get nick to teach me some guitar
And then they herd kate and asked us both to come down and so it mite well be happening at least for kicks
Met zoes sister
I would have never guessed they wer related
Anyways stayed till 1 and I couldn’t get home so I crashed at kates
Im surprised at how easily she trusts me
She told me it was something to do with me reminding her of her friends back in Albury
Gave her a copy of nitin sawhney and mogwai
And sat around in the morning listening to belle and Sebastian and some other cd and the two I gave her
And headed into the city for a coffee and to check out some shops
After that caught a train home and got ready to see Chantal about this commission paintings
A few of them wer a little over the top but thers about 4-5 that sound like fun so after we discuss price I mite take this up
Then headed over to rodneys for the night and to have a few drinks
Just me matty j johno pipa brooke (who left about an hour after I got ther) ‘joe flow’ and rod
I thought it would be better than staying home and for most of the night it was
I sat down with pipa and found out shes actually really smart despite hanging out with teeny boppers
And then I found out she prefers op shop cloths and lacy spider web stuff than teeny bopper cloths but she feels she wouldn’t look right if she worn em
So iv invited her and johno out tonight to Brunswick street with kate mick and amelia for tea to show her how shes not alone in this world
Then rodneys wog mates came round
mick and neno (or something)
and they all got trashed and finished a bottle of jin in 10 min flat
mixed with my grappa and johny walker they all got trashed but me johno and pipa
so us 3 retreated to the bedroom to talk
and Rodney came in drunk and angry and decided to abuse me and pipa and accusing us of having no idea about anything
talking about the speed of gravity?????
Then sayin light isnt effected by gravity
And that black holes have to do with holes in the time space continuum
and how they wernt even proven
So I laughed and told him hes been watching to much twilight zone
So I told him what they wer and he still believed his answer
Then he tried to act smart and asked if anyone knew wat quantum physics is
and instead of letting me explain quantum physics he tried to educate us all on it by reciting a tv show he saw a few weeks earlier
but I had seen 10 min of the same show and not only was he repeating it word for word but he was mixing everything up and was using examples without even understanding them
it also ticked me off a bit when he told me my dad wasn’t a scientist he was a food scientist and that means he doesn’t kno anything
even tho hes been doing it for the last 30 yrs and science is his life
so the next day pipa decided to look some stuff up and prove him wrong
and I let it slip because as much as stuff like that works me up I get annoyed with arguing with ppl who act the way he did with us
so yes that’s my bitching
I swept up the glass Rodney and he mates broke and johno and I cleaned up the house while Rodney slept
And then I gota lift home and just bummed around for most of the night chatting on the net and making a few fone calls
Goin to meet amelia tomorrow and catch up with kate and discuss the band thing with mick and show pipa and johno Brunswick st
I think my cloths are done so I better go chuck them on to dry and go crash
