swine flu blues
this swine flu is a bummer.
they cancelled la feria....it is a huge festival every year which generates lots of money for the city and local businesses.
school is out..people are not going to church...the bars are empty
people at the market are wearing surgical masks.
no one from coatza has caught the bug, but hospitals are busy with people who think they may have caught it.
i have never had the flu...maybe because I worked in a bar and handled lots of money...maybe that built up my immune system.
Once, during high school...I had caught strep throat and mono at the same time..that was probably the "sickest" that I have been. Also...I had an allergic reaction to penicillin...that wasn..t too pretty. I have never broken a bone and never had stitches.
I had bad acne and I have had an abscessed tooth..that was real pain.
and i have had my heart broken. I was in my 20s and it took forever to get over it. I have had it bruised a couple of times since then...but not broken. One thing I can say is that the fear of having my heart broken has never stopped me from pursuing a relationship....yes..i am the hunter.
what kills me is that no one has ever pursued me...I know the life of an international superstar can be somewhat daunting to others..but I..m the nicest guy I know.
ohhhh wait..I take that back...I was in the scope of a chicken hawk when I was very young...but that does not count...2 hits of X...screwdrivers...trash disco at Rich..s...poppers and mood rings..do not count!!!!!!! If I could remember the whole story I would tell you!!!
