Hm? Father Christmas is a few hours early, isn't he? [But she opens the door.]

[First come the roses, if only so he can shift the other parcels because, while he certainly doesn't find them heavy, they're still awkward to carry; one is flat and thin, the other is more of an odd square shape.]

Then it's excellent that I am not Father Christmas, non?

[hullonurse]

[Takes the roses graciously and steps aside to let him in.] You really didn't have to get me anything, dear. [Assuming those other presents are for Seychelles and China.]

[crotchroses]

[France ignores her and steps inside with a happy sigh. England. He does turn back to her and holds out the other packages, quite amused that she let him into her apartment.

May or may not have looked to see if any mistletoe was hanging overhead.]

These are for you also. You have a lovely singing voice, Rosemary.

[O-oh. More presents. She doesn't take them right away, but opens her mouth to say thank you-]

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me~ A partridge in a pear tree~

... [sdfghjk she blushes bright red, puts the roses down and rushes into the other room without taking the packages from France.] Wait right there!

[crotchroses]

[Oh he is so intent on taking advantage of that--for Rosemary--unfortunate outburst. At least, until he's left standing there pouting like a child.]

...

[POUTING. Though maybe she's getting presents for him too...]

[hullonurse]

[Well, he can probably still hear her singing from the other room.]

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me~ Two turtledoves and a partridge in a pear tree~

[--and he sings along in a nice warm tenor--in French, at any rate.]

[She comes back, glaring at him for making fun of her (that's what he's doing, right?!), a parcel in her arms.]

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me~ Three French hens, two turtledoves and a partridge in a pear tree~

[Shoves the package at him.] Here.

[He still sings right along and gladly offers to exchange their respective packages. Wrong! He isn't making fun. Not really...]

[Takes the presents from him.] Hmpf. You're welcome.

[brb tearing open the present he's really excited and he can't wait, he's allowed to do this.]

Open yours! I want to know what you think.

[And France will find a scarf and hat, both actually very well made with some nice fancy stitching.]

Just don't complain about yours. [Opens the package! And... Is momentarily stunned.] O-oh...

Ah! Why would I complain? [Nice stitching and freezing temperatures win out over whether or not the hat and scarf will match with his current outfit (mostly). France snuggles them and watches her gleefully over his gifts. C:

[She's impressed and pleased by the drawing, but it's the dress that takes her breath away. She unfolds it and holds it up in front of her to stare at it.]
