people are interesting...people are especially interesting if you can imagine yourself as impenetrable and them as an open book....most people are open books, myself included....but at least i know that i'm being watched....does psychology and all of its "analytical" uses really matter if its subjects are aware of themselves?...if you added up all of the dollars wasted on this aspect of therapy, you could fund a small war or buy every copy of "catcher in the rye" that exists in the world....there are some psychiatrists who claim that there is (within the realm of abnormal psychology) a branch-off that addresses the fakes....a practice which exposes people as they "fuck with", humour, or "appease" the person whom they are paying to "get inside their head"....a practice that stares thru the top half of its bi-focals, down its nose and silently scowls "i KNOW you!!!"...how can people earn degrees, accept laws/theories, and spend money on an institution which is at any given point ENTIRELY BASED ON THE LAB-RAT-ON-PCP-UNDECISIVE-IMPRESSIONABLE AND ABOVE ALL ABSTRACT THING WHICH IS OUR MIND (OR AS SOME WOULD ARGUE (AND JUSTIFIABLY SO) OUR SOUL??!!!...
