four days and counting

so i wrote my salutatorian speech today. i like it, and i hope you do, too, on sunday. i have to meet elizondo at 8 am tomorrow for her to look it over. of course i could change it and say whatever the hell i want come sunday, it's not like she's going to jump up and tackle me off the stage if i say something she doesn't like. but it's not like me to say things the administration doesn't want to hear...oh wait, that's exactly like me.
but not this time. this time, it's all about the awesomness of the class of '05.

my abuelos arrived today, and that's always an adventure. they are so crazy, but in a good way. they have travelled/lived in more places than anyone i know, they are so cool. today my mom and i were having a heated argument about sushi, and abuelo, who had not said a word the whole time, just randomly turned and said emphatically, "I do not like Japanese food!"
We laughed so hard it was the end of the argument. It was so random you had to be there to appreciate it.

tomorrow the party marathon begins. I hope I have enough presents for everyone who's throwing one. so, if you don't get a present from me, don't take it personally i just got you mixed up with the other thirty people who are having parties.

congrats to anji who got a job, and mia who got a job. that just leaves katie in the people who are looking for summer work. don't worry, you'll find it!

I leave for BA on tuesday. it's all happening so fast, graduation and parties and travelling and abuelos, I'm surprised i'm not more stressed. it's a good sign, i guess.

CLASS OF 2005!
