i dont want this summer to be over. i never thought it would come this fast. i will never forget this summer. it has been hands down the best. there are two words that can sum it up, SHIP AHOY. since i have spent 98% of my time there working you would think my summer was horrible. your wrong, it was awesome. i have never met one person who said, “yea ship ahoy isn’t really all i expected a beach club to be.” everyone who goes there has a special place for it in their heart, as strange as that might sound. in the beginning of the summer i brought a friend down there and she was so surprised and said that she felt like she was a vacation. you cant say that about many clubs. the people i work with are the most amazing group of people i have ever met. whether its one of the guards, beach boys, or the snakbar-ers we all have this bond. we all have such different personalities but put us together at a party or just hanging out we all have the greatest laughs and some hysterical times. we tell each other secrets that we wouldn't even tell our closest friends. the long days that seemed would never end, intestesting conversations, pat’s apartment, dino, ship ahoy sleepovers, that one drunken night, heartache, the rookies, rooftops, parking lots, tom and john, the many nicknames, lunch break, dinners with hagan, morning workouts, the porch, sean knocking over mark’s beer pong table, the hugs, the tears, the laughs, and the goodbyes. it was all so worth it and i am sorry it has to end. thanks >:o)
